How the SPR works

The Saxo Performance Rating (SPR) rates every player on one scale. Top performers sit in the 80s, and most of the league lands in the 50s to 70s. Like a golf handicap, it moves a little after every game night, so good play raises it and a rough stretch lowers it, but a career doesn't disappear after one bad season.

• History, 50%. Career titles, top-three seasons, average finish, and how rarely you've taken the Saxo.
• Form, 35%. Your recent game nights, newest counting most, plus your recent season finishes. Recent titles count extra.
• Momentum, 15%. Your recent results compared with your career. The arrow shows it: green rising, yellow steady (within 1 point either way), red falling.
• Reliability bonus, up to +2. Earned by showing up. Each no-show or sub in the last three seasons takes off 0.5.

To keep it steady, the score can move at most 1.5 points on a game night, 4 points on a season's final night, and 7 points across a season. Any extra is credited on later nights that go the same way, so your score never drops on a good night or rises on a bad one. Players with fewer than three seasons show a provisional score.
